Job Title: Store Operations Manager
Our client is a Global Trademark distributor of leading international tobacco brands and alternative nicotine delivery solutions in the Middle East. They are currently seeking an experienced Store Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the operational aspects of our retail stores in the UAE.
Store Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Streamline and optimize store processes to enhance operational efficiency and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Oversee inventory management processes, including stock replenishment, stock counts, and minimizing stock discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to design appealing store layouts that maximize product visibility and customer engagement.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of tobacco products to meet customer demands.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all tobacco products meet industry standards and regulations.
- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Monitor store performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve targets.
- Provide training and development opportunities to store staff to enhance their product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Collaborate with the finance department to create and manage store budgets, controlling expenses while maximizing profitability.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between store teams, head office, and various departments to ensure a cohesive and unified approach.
Store Operations Manager Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in store operations management, with a background in the tobacco distribution and retail industry highly desirable.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide store teams effectively.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and maintain positive relationships with staff and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and make data-driven decisions to drive operational success.
- Proficient in using retail management software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant tools.
