We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join our prestigious healthcare facility in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, diagnosis, and treatment to women throughout all stages of their reproductive lives. The successful candidate must possess exceptional clinical knowledge and skills in obstetrics and gynecology, adhere to the highest ethical standards, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various conditions and diseases.
• Conduct routine prenatal care, perform deliveries, and manage postnatal care, ensuring the well-being of both mother and baby.
• Perform gynecological examinations, screenings, and diagnostic tests, such as Pap smears, ultrasounds, colposcopies, and mammograms.
• Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, infertility, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and ovarian cysts.
• Perform surgical procedures, such as cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and minimally invasive surgeries, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, midwives, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide integrated and coordinated patient care.
• Stay updated with the latest developments, research, and advancements in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, and incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient consultations, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Provide patient education on reproductive health, contraception, family planning, and preventive measures to promote women’s health and well-being.
• Participate in departmental meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards, as well as local and international regulations and guidelines governing medical practice.
• Mentor and supervise junior medical staff, including residents and interns, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Collaborate with other departments and specialists within the healthcare facility to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
• Maintain effective communication and relationships with patients and their families, addressing their concerns and providing emotional support.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Medical degree from a reputable medical school, recognized by the relevant regulatory authorities in the UAE.
• Specialist certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized specialty board.
• Valid and active medical license to practice as a Specialist Obstetrics and Gynecology in the UAE. (DHA,MOH)
• A minimum of 3vyears of clinical experience as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a strong track record of successful outcomes.
• In-depth knowledge of current trends, best practices, and advancements in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
• Proficiency in performing various gynecological procedures and surgeries.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Awareness and adherence to ethical and professional standards of conduct.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
• Willingness to participate in continuous professional development
