About the job

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer to join a very exciting and growing Fintech to contribute to the build out and improve their platform and supporting products.

Your Responsibilities

• You will design and implement components/features of our platform and supporting products, optimize them for maximum speed and scalability, develop Open Finance APIs and applications, contribute to team and organizational improvements.
• 6+ years of programming experience in PHP. Strong experience with Laravel/Symfony, PostgreSQL or other RDBMS, RESTful API, OAuth2, pub/sub technologies like RabbitMQ, non-relational DB like Redis, Docker, Elasticsearch or analogues, and architecture patterns, design patterns, SOLID, and OWASP are required.
• You must also be used to working in a CI/CD delivery environment where code review and automated tests are key.

Your Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include exposure to Java and related frameworks, experience with Keycloak or other IAM systems, understanding of the fintech industry and open banking, and experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
