About the job

Our client is a fast-growing global company in the payments industry and is looking for a Reconciliation officer for their team in Dubai.

Role Overview The primary function of the role is to carry out a daily end-to-end reconciliation of their systems to ensure that all payments are made on a timely basis.

What You Will Do

• Daily end-to-end reconciliation for Tax Refunds.
• Checking Float Balances on a daily basis and ensuring funds are sent on a regular basis.
• To monitor refund statuses daily and ensure necessary action taken on a timely basis and remedial steps taken wherever needed.
• Reconciliation of reports on a regular basis with action being taken for investigation and resolution of issues.
• Create and issue various reports for management and other stake holders.
• Any other duties that may be assigned

Who You Are

• Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
• Be well organized with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage own workload.
• Ability to be flexible and work with various cultures and time zones within a fast growing global company.
• Must display initiative and a commonsense approach.
