If this sounds like you, lets chat.We are looking for a Senior Lead – Performance QA Engineer. You are vital in driving the strategy and execution ensuring that as we evolve our products, we are improving our performance and stability, and highlighting when performance degrades. You will be the SME for the Performance QA domain across the application estate. Responsible for line managing performance and security QA engineers. Manage and deliver end to end performance testing activities. Determining scripting and undertaking performance testing (Load, Stress and Soak) against a suite of asset management web applications.What You’ll Do – Establish NFT strategy and approach for the company

• Work with teams to help plan performance testing scope for individual deliverables
• Work with the team to ensure performance and scalability are understood and met
• Hands-on in producing Performance Test scripts, scenarios in accordance with the documented approach
• Incorporate test scripts for individual deliverables into a larger test pack
• Create monitoring dashboards to support reporting and diagnosing performance issues
• Produce clear and robust performance test results
• Work closely with the Development team to help diagnose/ resolve performance issues
• Responsible for line management of NFT engineer The Knowledge, Experience And Qualifications You Need
• Proven experience of performance testing multiple enterpriselevel software solutions based on Client-Server or web services-based architecture
• Strong experience of writing performance tests and scripts using JMeter
• Exposure to a wide range of other performance test tools & techniques, ideally including K6 & Grafana
• Some experience with JavaScript and TypeScript- Writing Performance Test strategies / plans to granular detail
• Possess the ability to asses performance risk, design and execute performance testing and report on findings with recommendations
• Be comfortable building the required tooling to support performance testing. E.g. Data generators, Bearer Token generation. – Possess the ability to identify, implement and work with application, database and infrastructure monitoring tools in analysing performance

Requirements RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Performance testing using PT tools like JMeter / Load Runner / Blaze meter
• Script, Design Test Cases, do Test Estimation, Make Test Strategy, Setup Test Environment, Setup Test Data
• Work with developers/architects in identifying improvement areas on the server & application UI
• Use profiling tools, dump analysers & JVM optimization techniques to identify bottlenecks
• Monitor application/services in test env to characterize performance bottlenecks & identifying improvement areas
• Help teams in tuning applications, server configuration, infrastructure
• Able to independently perform accessibility audits of web pages, desktop applications, and mobile apps, using accessibility testing tools and assistive technology products
• Write and evaluate audit reports, describing accessibility issues and recommendations for resolving them

Automation of Accessibility checkpoints based on the gap analysis of the existing tools within organization

COMPETENCIES :MUST HAVE SKILLS :

• Hands on experience in JMeter / Load Runner / Blaze meter
• Hands on experience in Unix Basic Commands
• Working experience in AWS Dashboard
• Hands on experience in XML, HTML, Java Scripts
• Be proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI ARIA and display knowledge about the accessibility benefits and obstacles these techniques provide
• Hands on experience with Assistive Technology (e.g. screen readers, magnifiers, alternative input, etc)
• Understand accessibility evaluation tools and methods in both web and desktop environments
• Working experience in SaaS, REST

Good to have/ desired skills :

• Working experience in Elastic Search, Gatling, Locust
• Hands on experience in AWS Cloud Technologies
• Working experience in Kibana- (ELK) Visualization
