A telecommunication company that is building a broadband network in outer space is looking for an Embedded Engineer C/C++ to become a part of the team, providing outstanding technologies for seamless connections from almost anywhere.

Responsibilities:

• Support in Configuration of the PetaLinux to FPGA design;
• Take current SW implementation and make sure it can support scaling based on system requirements;
• Support FPGA block ramp-ups;
• Develop configuration infrastructure based on NETCONF;
• Develop CLI;
• Develop init and configuration macros;
• Develop flows based on system requirements;
• Develop CPRI C&M termination including fast C&M and VSB;
• Support in integrations;
• For each work with AST tools (JIRA, Valispace, etc…);
• For each, provide a design doc and detailed code comments.

Requirements:

• Experience with Xilinx RFSoC or MPSoC platforms;
• Experience in HW<->SW interfaces;
• Familiarity with FPGA design;
• Experience with NETCONF protocol and YANG model;
• Experience with networking infra (ethernet, DHCP, DNS, ICMP and layer 2-3 protocols);
• BSc in Computer sciences, Software/Electrical engineering, or equivalent experience;
• 5+ years’ experience in RT embedded SW development or high-performance networking, or Linux kernel development;
• 3+ years’ experience with Xilinx’s RFSoC or MPSoC systems;
• In-depth knowledge of C and in C++ (3+ years’ experience);
• Proven experience working with wireless and cellular communication protocols and standards;
• Proven experience in BSP (Board support package);
• Understanding of H/W and S/W interfaces. Experience in collaboration with H/W teams;
• Experience with high-performance on PCI-E;
• Experience in High Performance Networking (DPDK or equivalent) – A plus;
• Creative, with the ability to drive good ideas to successful implementation;
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural and multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (B2-C1).
