Job Purpose

The Integration and Governance Technology Portfolio Assistant Vice President is accountable to create the masterplan for Technology portfolio and projects, the management of Technology portfolio governance, orchestrating with the portfolio heads, adherence to & maintenance of PMO processes, and continuous alignment with enterprise architecture strategy.

Key Accountabilities:

Responsible for defining the masterplan at Technology portfolio and project level

• Owns the development and maintenance of the master plan for Technology portfolio and the respective projects
• Resolves interdependencies and roadblocks across the bank for Technology projects and ensure a single source of truth of master plan

Responsible for managing the portfolio governance and ensuring adherence to PMO processes

• Orchestrates updates from and collaborates with Portfolio Heads (Tech for Tech Portfolio(s))

• Manages the reporting status for Technology Portfolio projects at respective governance forums
• Manages the risks, issues, and escalations at Technology Portfolio level
• Coordinates with the PMO Office Architecture Manager VP for aligning on Enterprise Architecture for Technology portfolio
• Provides guidance and support to Portfolio heads on PMO processes to use
• Works as a custodian of processes such as Scope Change, Release Management, for all Technology projects (Tech for Tech)

Qualifications

Experience and Qualification

• University Degree in Technology, Management or equivalent
• MBA or equivalent Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience of working with Banking IT
• Total experience of 8+ years
• Experience in managing a team size of 1-2 people
• Minimum 4 years of experience in managing technology portfolio governance and delivery
• PM or Technology Certification is a plus

Skills

• Experience in managing a large-scale transformation program or multiple programs with interdependencies and an ability to proactively resolve issues
• Experience in managing technology or data related projects
• Experience with various project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
• Experience in implementation project management processes
• Experience of working with a cross-functional team
• Good stakeholder management capability and working with senior management
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; PowerPoint, Excel, etc
• Experience with data handling and analysis tools such as Power BI
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and deliver within tight deadlines
• Willing to learn, collaborate, go the extra mile, and demonstrate a high level of integrity with the ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately
