Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting on behalf of an electro-mechanical company in Al Ain, UAE. Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for daily transaction processing and will closely collaborate with the finance department reporting to the finance manager. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing financial aspects of the business.Reconcile various bank accounts by compiling and balancing financial informationMaintains accounting records of subsidiary branches using balance sheet analysis and general ledger accountsHelps secure sensitive financial data by assisting other team members with database creation and maintenanceCorrects accounting errors and posts journal entry adjustmentsPrepares fixed asset depreciation and accrualsDetermines the financial status and health of various organizations and businessesUpdates and maintains general ledger accounts by keeping close track of accounts receivable details and control accountsExpands knowledge base by participating in educational programs and reading accounting publicationsCompletes other accounting tasks as neededAssist with the preparation of financial statementsAnalyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgersPost journal entries for accrued expenses and revenueMaintain and record fixed assetsPrepare and file local compliance reporting as necessaryPrepare court-mandated annual accounting reports and inventories for client discharges as necessaryAct as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepanciesRequirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• Less than 2 years’ related experience preferred
• Available to join immediately
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficient with ERP systems, including Microsoft Office
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
